Task

We had to design a new tour website for eBhutan Tourism. The travel agency wanted to spread the word about their services to attract potential customers. The website was required to be up-to-date with relevant and engaging information and with pleasing aesthetics.

Challenges

The main aim of designing the website was to sell more tours.

  • We needed to develop an intelligent information architecture.
  • A lot of information would be available on the website, we needed to arrange the content in a simplified structure, considering the journey the users will take to access this information.
  • Another major focus while designing the website was, to develop a website this is as much fun as going on the actual trip.
  • The website needed to expose users to the latest trends, hidden gems, and recommendations.
  • The website needed to be visually pleasing and at the same time provide guidance. It needed to act as a resource that brought ideas to the travels so that they do not stress about where to go, how to go and what to do there.

What We Did

We adopted the following methods to reach our goals:-

  • Strategic use of “Call-to-Action” buttons.
  • The website design features a modern but friendly style.
  • The website has a color scheme, typography, and imagery which reinforces the fun-packed holidays that eBhutan Tourism offers.
  • Large images to show off the tour and Bhutan Culture.
  • Relevant FAQs to help visitors with information and also to boost SEO.
  • Also, the website provides information on ways to travel, things to do, popular tourist attractions.
  • Simplified structure and navigation, intuitive sitemaps, and social media plugins.
